Florida Man loses his shorts while swimming away from police; found naked behind a bush

July 5 Florida Man – A Florida Man was found naked behind a bush, after losing the only article of clothing he was wearing while swimming away from the police. 

Police responded to a call regarding a man refusing to leave a residence in Gainesville, FL. While the deputies were on their way, they identified the suspect as 50-year-old Jesse Dean Lamb, who currently has a warrant out for failing to show up in court for driving with a suspended license in 2021.

Upon the deputies’ arrival, FM dashed towards Suwannee river, wearing only a pair of shorts. Lamb threw himself into the water and swam towards a floating dock, and hid underneath it.

The police ordered FM to come out of his hiding place, to which FM complied only to quickly swim away again. However this time, FM lost his shorts–the only article of clothing he was wearing–in his haste.

For the next two hours, FM hid from the deputies ‘au naturale’-style, not until one of the neighbors used his underwater camera to look for Lamb. They found him still underneath one of the docks and still refusing to come out.

FM then dashed, yet again, and tried to swim across the river towards the other side. But not before the police caught up to him using a borrowed boat from the dock owner.
